Free Coaching Scheme 2024 Selection Process
The selection process under the Free Coaching Scheme 2024′ is conducted in the following stages:
- Application Process:
- Eligible students from Central University located in their state official website Apply online for the scheme by visiting.
- The application process is completely online; Offline applications are not accepted.
- Scrutiny of Application Forms:
- All applications received by the Central Universities are thoroughly scrutinized. In this, the eligibility of the students, annual income of the family, and other necessary documents are confirmed.
- Preparation of Merit List:
- After scrutiny of the application forms, a merit list of students found eligible is prepared. This list includes the names of those students who are eligible to receive coaching under the scheme.
- Publication of Merit List:
- The merit list is uploaded on the official website of the scheme, so that the selected students can get information about their selection.
- Final Selection and Forwarding of List:
- The list of students is forwarded to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Dr. Ambedkar Foundation. On the basis of this list, students are enrolled for coaching under the scheme.
- Transfer of Coaching Fees and Stipend:
- The coaching fees and monthly stipend of the selected students are transferred to their bank account in two installments.
- The first installment is deposited before the commencement of the course, and the last installment is paid after 75% completion of the course.

Role of Dr. Ambedkar Foundation
The government has handed over the responsibility of running the ‘Free Coaching Scheme 2024’ to Dr. Ambedkar Foundation. Among the central universities selected by the Foundation, ‘Dr. Coaching centers will be established in the name of ‘Ambedkar Center of Excellence’, where free coaching will be provided to the students.
